They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.</p> <p> </p> <p>Project Overview</p> <p>Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland’s nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come.</p> <p> </p> <p>We invite you to join our team for this very interesting opportunity!</p> <p> </p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Sr Construction Planner will supoport construction related planning and scheduling analysis and control activities expected to occur during the EPC phase of the project in our Warsaw, Poland office including:</p> <ul> <li>Engineering, procurement and construction schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery planning.</li> <li>EPC phase related reporting and analysis including P6 schedule quality metrics.</li> <li>Support EPC phase planning studies, forecasts, problem solving exercises.</li> </ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports construction schedule development, data analysis, issue resolution, and improvement efforts.</li> <li>Supports efforts to establish and communicate milestones for the procurement phase of the project.</li> <li>Reviews scheduled EPC phase construction work activities to ensure their support of project milestones.</li> <li>Develops EPC phase construction schedule resource loading and leveling and all bulk commodity design and purchase release curves.</li> <li>Ensures open communication with other organizations to support schedule maintenance and reporting.</li> <li>Identifies and works to resolve EPC phase construction related schedule restraints and complexities.</li> <li>Monitors and reports EPC phase critical path and schedule performance and makes recommendations for improvement.</li> <li>Performs P6 schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to find criticality of schedule activities.</li> <li>Identifies alternatives for EPC schedule improvement for discussion and/or decision.</li> <li>Prepares EPC schedule recovery plans when needed.</li> <li>Ascertains that the correct scope of work and the project execution plan are reflected on all schedules.</li> <li>Integrates interdisciplinary EPC schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties.</li> <li>Works with the performing organizations to coordinate work sequences with the total EPC project plan.</li> <li>Establishes and implements methods for finding activity durations.</li> <li>Works with quantity records to ensure total quantities are represented by discipline and or specialty.</li> <li>Incorporates required job hour expenditures by disciplines or specialties within developed schedules. Assists in finding leveling decisions.</li> <li>Assures accurate quantity, personnel, and cost resource loading for EPC schedules.</li> <li>Performs project performance monitoring and control functions.</li> <li>Assists in reviewing cost and job hour information and supports trend identification and resolution efforts.</li> <li>Analyzes quantity and cost information and predicts changes and trends.</li> <li>Assists with the preparation and issuance of the monthly project cost and trend reports as needed.</li> <li>Supports quantification and estimates for trends and scope changes and provides feedback to estimating regarding cost trends and lessons learned.</li> <li>Int
