Senior Coating Advisor

We want you to be part of our journey of growth and of an outstanding, global family.</p><p></p><p>What you can look forward to in this role:</p><ul><li>Provide technical assistance to customers in order to solve technical issues.</li><li>Provide service to customers as required and as agreed regarding surface treatment and paint application.</li><li>Observe the rules of Hempel specifications.</li><li>Observe the rules of Hempel quality.</li><li>Work according to Hempel Coating Advisor’s Safety Handbook.</li></ul><p></p><p>Key task</p><ul><li>Provide pre-sales and /or post-sales technical support to customers, including testing and maintaining products, equipment, and services.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs</li><li>Monitor and resolve recurring problems to ensure on-going customer satisfaction.</li><li>Train customers on the features and application of the products they purchase if needed.</li><li>Provide support to sales force regarding the technical aspects of the company’s products and / or services.</li><li>Ensure completion of needed reports.</li><li>Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health &amp; Safety and Environment.</li></ul><p></p><p>What does it take to become our new team member?</p><p></p><ul><li>University degree or equivalent in Chemistry would be valuable but not essential.</li><li>Previous experience as technical service representative would be valuable.</li><li>FROSIO/NACE certification preferably but not required.</li><li>Knowledge of the paint sector preferably but not required.</li><li>Computer skills (MS programs).</li><li>Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English.
