About the role

Wood is hiring for an Operations Lead to support rhi Talent Solutions in the US and Canada. This would be a mid-level position, experience in an account manager role with an agency required. This position will be based out of our Houston Park Ten campus. This is a growth-oriented role, with the eventual goal of being moved into a manager role.

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.


Local candidates preferred, as there is no relocation assistance for this role

  • Deliver growth in the areas of responsibility through close collaboration with Business Development. Develop and own business plan, and drive sales, bid and tender activity. 
  • Assist with developing and delivering a robust business plan, whilst driving and supporting corporate initiatives, ensuring company values are at the core of all activities. 
  • Expands the company’s business in the area served, directs local business development programs, proactively identifies new opportunities and supports / leads bid and tender activity as appropriate
  • Oversees proposals and call-offs (may be individual projects) within delegation of authority, ensuring compliance with contracting policy and standards of ethical conduct. 
  • Forge strong working relationships with other departments/teams both internal and external to the Company 
  • This role manages the rhi Talent teams working locally and remotely, maintaining open and effective lines of communications 
  • Drive delivery of objectives
  • Provide consultative, problem-solving support for challenging business issues, and ensure expert functional support is provided to the business in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardizing process improvements to the full engagement life-cycle of the contingent workforce including onboarding, changes, and offboarding, alignment of systems, designing work to be more efficient and effective, project excellence while accelerating the internal team's ability to deliver this functionality
  • Will need to build and create relationships with key stakeholders; P&O leadership teams, P&O business partner teams, finance and accounting, payroll, global shared services, project delivery teams, communications, general counsel/ legal team, tax, global mobility
  • Promote, represent and enhance Company reputation internally and externally with customers
  • Serve as subject matter expert for process improvements
  • Responsible for ensuring competence of employees in area of responsibility to carry out assigned duties
  • Ensure day-to-day operations maintain a continued alignment with overall corporate policy, strategy and direction.

 

  • Direct business development and recruitment experience in an agency setting required
  • Comfortable with being both autonomous and collaborative depending on the situation
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
  • A history of contributing to the formulation and execution of strategy
  • Experience building business (strong preference for contractor management, payroll & recruitment).
  • Ability to oversee and contribute to operational effectiveness and integrity
