About the role

Enterprise Workforce Management is a new capability that is being built at Citi that provides Citi leaders and managers with frameworks, standards, procedures, and tools to ensure adequate Organizational Health and Resource Management across the bank.

E2E Resource Management Product Owner is responsible to -

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Capacity, Staffing, Skills, and Structure – to deliver innovative solutions that meet end user needs and business goals. Responsible for defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring successful launches.
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Market & User Research: Conduct Market research, analyze industry trends, and gather user insights to identify opportunities
  • Roadmap Planning: Prioritize features and improvements based on business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to develop and launch product successfully
  • Execution & Delivery: Manage product development cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality releases
  • Data-Driven Decision making: Define success metrics, track product performance, and iterate based on insights
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present Product updates, key milestones, and strategic initiatives to leadership and stakeholders
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with Org readiness teams to drive adoption and ensure successful product launches
  • Partner with other HR disciplines strategy leads to align on integration opportunities

The Workforce Management Senior Group Manager is responsible for leading Citi’s efforts around staffing, skill adequacy and organization design. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems, theories and practices relevant to the function as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles. As a workforce management leader in the firm, this role is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s workforce management processes are efficient, effective and aligned Citi’s goals.  This includes developing and implementing workforce management strategies, creating and maintaining workforce management policies and procedures, and measuring and reporting on workforce management metrics. The Workforce Management Senior Group Manager is a key contributor, working with senior management and other executive stakeholders to ensure alignment of the workforce management function with the overall strategic direction of the organization. The role requires advanced diplomacy skills and a high level of influence to gain buy-in for changes and initiatives and is likely to be involved in both internal and external negotiations which will have an impact on the area managed, and possibly on other related areas and the organization as a whole.  Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required as well as ability to handle ambiguity, direct others and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the alignment of global strategy with regional and country specific priorities in partnership with product or Advises/consults with business leaders on staffing, resourcing, and skills priorities.  Leverages headcount and finance analytics to share insights and drive programs.
  • Leads the development and implementation of comprehensive workforce plans that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time.
  • Continuously evaluates workforce planning processes to identify areas of improvement, ensuring the organization remains agile in response to shifting business needs.
  • Oversees the identification, assessment, and development of key skills within the workforce, ensuring the organization can meet current and future needs.  Collaborate with Learning and Development to design and implement upskilling and reskilling programs.   
  • Oversees the development and execution of accurate workforce forecasts and schedules ensuring business needs are met.  Integrate predictive and other analytics tools into forecasting processes to anticipate future workforce needs and potential challenges, enabling proactive decision making.
  • Oversees and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports that track key workforce metrics, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies that enhance workforce management capabilities.
  • Maintain and train a Workforce management community within HR and business stakeholders, upskilling on the approach and a knowledge base to support a broad range of Workforce management activities across Citi
