About this role
With our rapidly growing user base and exciting initiatives on the horizon, we’re at a pivotal moment in defining the future of Yubo. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who can move fast, own KPIs, and turn hypotheses into high-impact premium experiences. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll report directly to the Chief Design Officer (CDO) and collaborate closely with Product Managers and Tech leads in a tight partnership as co-leads within the Monetization squad. You’ll also work alongside an enthusiastic team of developers, marketers, and product stakeholders, all united by a shared mission to redefine social discovery.

Your responsibilities

• Co-Lead a Product Squad: Partner with your Product Manager and Tech Lead as the trio steering your squad. Work hand-in-hand with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to bring your experiment to life. 
• Design End-to-End Solutions: Own the design process from ideation to pixel-perfect. You’ll create intuitive, engaging interfaces that not only look great but also drive key outcomes like user engagement and revenue.
• Drive Experimentation: Continuously test impactful ideas through A/B experiments and rapid testing. 
• Discovery & Data: Continuously analyze usage data (Amplitude, in-house tools, data team collaboration), conduct research, and perform competitor analysis to guide design decisions.
• Evolve the Design System: Contribute to maintaining and improving Yubo’s design system for consistency and scalability across the app.

Who you are

• You have > 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
• You have experience in shipping monetized features and can demonstrate their impact on ARPU, retention or conversion.
• Strong skills in interface design, usability principles, and design systems. 
• A product-oriented mindset: You understand the importance of data and business requirements and their impact on design without sacrificing user experience.
• You’re comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments and excel at communicating with cross-functional teams, ideally in a squad system.
• A strong sense of ownership and autonomy, balanced with the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
• A passion for designing products that make a difference in the lives of millions of users.

Within a month, you will

• Discover all parts of Yubo’s app and our different squads, as well as get a better understanding of the current userbase.
• Fully integrate within the Monetization squad
• Start exploring all of Yubo’s visual assets, get a better understanding of our brand to prepare proper alignment on all future features.

Within 3 months, you will

• Have designed and launched your first high impact feature and new premium flows that increase conversion and retention of paying users, from initial concepts to final implementation.
• Monitor engagement and profitability metrics to start iterating on your freshly released feature.
• Measurably increase ARPU through new premium loops
