As a Senior System Safety Software Engineer you will conduct cutting-edge research and development to advance our technology and capabilities and mission of sustainability. We are currently seeking a System Safety Software Developer to join our team and help us design and develop safety-critical software solutions for our customers.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

3–5 years of professional experience in software development, specifically focused on safety-critical systems within the automotive industry.

Comprehensive knowledge of safety-critical software development processes and industry standards, including ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

Proficiency in programming languages commonly utilized in safety-critical software development.

Your role at Aurobay
As a Senior System Safety Software Engineer you will:

Develop and uphold best practices for software development in safety-critical systems.

Analyze and resolve issues in safety-critical software by collaborating with the engineering team to implement effective solutions.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, by working closely with safety engineers to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of software with other vehicle components.

Contribute to the design and development of system architecture and software requirements for safety-critical systems.

Conduct field tests in diverse environments worldwide, including extreme conditions (e.g., variations in temperature or altitude), to evaluate software performance.

Perform comprehensive safety analyses of automotive systems, including hazard analysis, risk assessments, and fault tree analysis.
