About this opportunity
By joining our line organization, you will be part of the 1LOD to support the business and rest of the bank. In this position, you will report to a newly developed functional team, BCCM Process
Oversight & Controls, and tasked with supporting decision makers with an oversight on BCCM risk through an improved governance with controls, reporting and framework. In doing this, you will ensure efficient processes, robust issue management, gap identifications and clear escalation processes. In your role, you will manage and translate data and develop appropriate reporting targeted for varied stakeholders and reporting committees across the bank. You will inspire change and create value to the bank by unveiling complexities and discrepancies using creative story-telling methods, systems and tools – so that Nordea continues to be a safe and trusted bank for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Represent the line organization by providing management including C-suite with powerful facts and analyses that outline solutions and drive change
- Use and manage appropriate systems and tools to identify information, gather and transform data and reports into compelling visuals that are fit for purpose
- Establish & communicate data intelligence including reporting and insights as well as recommend areas for improvements to business stakeholders and executive management
- Oversee and maintain the highest levels of data competency, accuracy in standards and reporting capacity across the BCCM risk
- Create different levels of reporting designed for various audience in accordance to a BCCM reporting roadmap
- Collaborate closely with the BCCM risk, process & controls Lead to secure alignment with dependencies on other frameworks
- Analyse data, insights and reporting trends to ensure continuity
The role is based in Gdynia; Helsinki; Malmö; Stockholm; Warszawa; Łódź.

- Have excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, colour, interaction design and fluency with various tool
- Are an experienced professional who possesses strong stakeholder management engagement abilities
- Have an eye for detail to be able to interpret complex guidelines
- Are fluent with excellent English language skills and a creative communicator with effective story-telling techniques to transform raw data into engaging reports
- Enjoy working on multiple tasks and thrive working independently and proactively, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Are eager to learn on the job, develop your skills and position as the team and organization matures
Your experience and background:
- An ambitious professional with the relevant education and demonstrated experience and/or background in data quality, management, governance and tools
- At least two years of consulting or experience in banking or the finance sector
- A PowerPoint Wizard with knowledge and/or experience of Business intelligence tools is an advantage
