Our offices in Netherlands are in Amsterdam and s-Hertogenbosch. We work on a “hybrid work” mode (home/office based) with regular travel within Netherlands and occasionally abroad for this position.</p><p>You will be part of the Storage team currently focused on developing battery storage. This encompasses both stand-alone utility scale battery storage as well as batteries co-located with our ground mounted solar PV projects and onshore wind projects in The Netherlands.</p><p><strong>Your role:</strong></p><ul><li>Analysing the market for storage and contributing to the strategy for storage in the Netherlands</li><li>Identification of stand-alone utility scale battery storage projects, contributing to the development pipeline</li><li>Project development from site identification to permit</li><li>Manage the grid access through relationship with the various network operators</li><li>Coordinating site specifics with financial and technical colleagues and determine the consequences</li><li>Liaising with spatial planners and other advisers to prepare permit applications</li><li>Initiating and managing the permit application process towards province and municipality</li><li>Stakeholder management and community engagement</li><li>Pro-active contribution to the development of provincial and municipal vision and/or spatial planning</li><li>Track project level progress and risks. Provide insightful analysis and reporting to management</li><li>While you will drive the activities in the respective country you will be integrated into Statkraft’s wider team who will deliver financing, market and technical capabilities.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master or Bachelor degree in business, economics, engineering, spatial planning or environmental and sustainability studies</li><li>Experience in the renewable energy industry</li><li>Prior experience in storage is considered an advantage</li><li>Knowledge of the Dutch renewable energy market </li><li>Highly proficient in MS Excel and other MS applications</li><li>Ability to manage numerous projects and relationships simultaneously including landowners, authorities, distribution network operators, advisors and internal stakeholders</li><li>Independent self-starter.
