Senior Java Developer

The platform is used by tens of thousands of teachers and students on a daily basis.</p><p></p><p><b>Role responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p>Back-end developer in a Scrum-based team. Product is actively developed and invested in. We’re building new features and also supporting the current usage in three different countries. The back-end technonolgies we use are JavaScript, Java, RxJava, NodeJs, MongoDB, AWS, Terraform &amp; Docker.</p><p></p><p><b>Must-have requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of Java knowledge (bonus for rxJava and/or vertX)</p></li><li><p>AWS Lambda knowledge</p></li><li><p>Passion for building secure, scalable, high-availability solutions</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe...)</p></li><li><p>A DevOps mindset</p></li><li><p>Fluent communication and documentation skills in English</p></li><li><p>A positive attitude and ability to work in an international team</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Nice-to-have requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>We appreciate if you understand modern architecture models such as Micro Services, Serverless Architecture and Event-driven Architecture</p></li><li><p>Knowledge in Kubernetes, Spring Framework or NodeJS is considered as advantage</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Sanoma Learning</b></p><p><br/>How do you prepare students for the world, engage their curiosity and inspire them to grow?
