The purpose of this role is to drive the profitable growth of agency business portfolios within set guidelines, fostering strong customer relationships and loyalty. This involves providing technical expertise to clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and executing strategic plans to enhance product awareness and service delivery. Additionally, the role carries P&L responsibility for various channels, focusing on aligning customer loyalty with the company's value proposition.
• Location: Marblehead, MA, Plano, TX, Edina, MN, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Atlanta, GA
• Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week
• The starting salary for this role is between $144,000.00 and $270,000.00
Your new role:
Responsible for the strategy definition, execution, and performance of channels, ensuring growth, profitability, and compliance with regulations.
Enable channels to provide valuable service, enhance customer relationships, and build customer loyalty aligned with the company's value proposition.
Manage P&L responsibility for the channel, including strategy, growth, profitability, business planning, and performance management.
Underwrite new business and renewals, providing quotes in a timely and professional manner in line with service standards.
Establish and develop relationships with key clients, monitor client feedback, and support local compliance requirements.
Provide administrative support to the Distribution team and ensure personal accreditation levels and compliance requirements are met.
Learn about new products, understand commission structures, and provide product expertise to intermediaries.
Collaborate with underwriters to improve sales performance, recruit potential intermediaries, and manage the sales team.
Monitor and review individual sales performance against targets, analyse data submissions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Professional qualification in insurance or related disciplines preferred.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
