Entrepreneur High School Fontana (eHigh Fontana) is a dynamic charter high school located in Fontana, CA, where students don’t just learn about business—they live it. Through project-based learning and interdisciplinary instruction, students launch their own ventures, solve real-world problems, and develop entrepreneurial thinking in every subject.

We are seeking a CTE Teacher for the Entrepreneurship & Self-Employment or Business Management ePathway. The ideal candidate brings creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit to the classroom, helping students build practical skills in launching and managing businesses through the CTE model standards of California. 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Entrepreneurship and Business Management that embeds core entrepreneurial principles throughout the curriculum.

Develop interdisciplinary, project-based learning experiences that integrate marketing, finance, management, technology, and entrepreneurship to foster real-world problem-solving and innovation.

Teach key business and career readiness topics including personal branding, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, social media strategy, business ethics, communication, resume writing, and job retention skills.

Utilize and teach students to navigate modern digital tools and platforms such as Google Workspace, Canva, financial applications, and entrepreneurial systems to enhance learning and business literacy.

Integrate emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, digital media tools, and e-commerce platforms—into instruction to prepare students for a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Develop and manage the Entrepreneurship and Business Management Pathway’s annual budget, including procurement of curriculum materials, technology licenses, supplies, and other programmatic needs.

Facilitate authentic, experiential learning opportunities such as student-run businesses, business plan pitch competitions, financial literacy simulations, and school-based enterprises.

Provide guidance and supervision for student internships, externships, school-based internships, and other work-based learning experiences that connect classroom learning with industry practice.

Support students in exploring and pursuing career pathways in business, entrepreneurship, and related industries through advising, mentoring, and career planning.

Encourage students to build professional portfolios that showcase their business plans, marketing strategies, entrepreneurial projects, and measurable outcomes.

Foster a dynamic classroom culture rooted in creativity, curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, risk-taking, resilience, and reflective learning—hallmarks of the entrepreneurial mindset.

Collaborate with educators across disciplines to co-create integrated curriculum that supports innovation, enterprise, and cross-subject connections.

Develop and sustain partnerships with local businesses, community leaders, and organizations to enhance student learning through guest speakers, site visits, and study trips.

Serve as a DECA Advisor or Assistant Advisor to support student leadership, competition readiness, and participation in Career and Technical Student Organizations.

Prepare effective lesson plans that align with California CTE Model Curriculum Standards and demonstrate consistent implementation of the 12 Elements of High-Quality College and Career Pathways.
 

Engage in ongoing professional development, reflect on practice, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve student learning outcomes.

Participate in school-wide and pathway-related events such as the Entrepreneurship Expo, CTE Advisory Committee Meetings, Career Fairs, and Career and Technical Student Organization activities.

Connect with local business and industry professionals to invite them to semi annual CTE advisory committee meetings
