Minimum Starting Salary: $2,094.06 Bi-Weekly (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion may be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee’s current rate, whichever is higher.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an independent position that consults with upper management to improve capabilities and operational procedures and provides direction and supervision for Detention Services Headquarters (HQ) operational functions.
Manages all Central Communications Center (CCC) issues and reports by reviewing incident reports daily, researching details to establish if policy and procedures were violated, assigning incidents for investigation through the Incident Operations Center (IOC).
Act as the liaison with Central Communications Center (CCC) and Incident Operations Center (IOC) for Detention Services by attending meetings, trainings and addressing issues or concerns regarding facility CCCs related to Detention Services
Prepare and submit any required reports. Assist in the development of training. Assist with tasks and duties related to CCC and IOC.
Provide oversight and management of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) as it relates to Detention Services. Prepare and submit required reports.
Provide oversight of the Statewide Transportation & Relocation System (STARS).
Monitors the Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS) and prepares reports to present to upper management.
Oversees the Facility Management System (FMS) data and prepares reports to present to management including overtime, incidents, and Protective Action Response (PAR)’s.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
Knowledge of supervisory techniques.
Ability to use computer software.
Ability to conduct problem-solving
