About the role

Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our all-star team and ensure our internal IT infrastructure is fully operational, updated and protected so that all OSI departments operate seamlessly. This position will oversee the day-to-day, support ticket flow, hand off incidents. You will also lead the design of future expansions of the infrastructure to accommodate growth and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • IT Department coordination across all our global offices.
  • Provides 2nd & 3rd Level support for IT Administrators.
  • Previous experience with Zabbix for device enrollment, configuration, and ongoing monitoring. This includes setting up and managing devices within Zabbix, configuring alerts, and maintaining oversight of network performance and system health.
  • Ensures and demonstrates compliance with ISO27001/ISO9001 and the applied Information Security Policy.
  • Configuration of Firewalls including Web application firewalls (Palo Alto, Imperva) and CISCO & Aruba switches.
  • Experience in managing and configuring virtual environments using VMware vCenter and ESXi, with a strong understanding of virtualization principles and best practices.
  • Experience with configuring and managing Linux and Windows clusters, as well as storage solutions, to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliable data management across systems.
  • Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, including SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos, for secure authentication and access management across applications and systems.

Technologies

  • Proficient with Office 365 licensing and administration (especially Exchange / SharePoint).
  • Experience with Azure ARM stack (eg. virtual networks / virtual machines).
  • Firewall/NGFW management (FW / VPN / Proxy), especially experience with Palo Alto products.
  • Proficiency in domain management tasks, including Active Directory (AD) synchronization, user management, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, and Group Policy administration, to maintain secure and efficient network operations.
  • Previous experience in administering network equipment, including managed switches and WiFi access points, with a focus on configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure network reliability and performance.
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems, specifically with FreePBX and Yealink devices, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for effective voice communication solutions.
  • Proficiency in VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms, including deployment, management, and optimization of virtual environments.
  • Experience in administering Veeam Backup solutions, including configuration, scheduling, and monitoring of backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Strong experience in administering Linux systems, preferably CentOS/RHEL, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing Windows Server 2016+ environments, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient server operations.
  • Basic knowledge of MacOS and iOS administration, including user management, system configuration, and troubleshooting for Apple devices within an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and Bash scripting is a plus, with the ability to automate tasks, manage system configurations, and improve operational efficiency across multiple platforms.

·        In-depth expertise in TCP/IP and networking protocols, with the ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex network infrastructures.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Azure Certifications (AZ-104 / MS-100 / MS-101) are considered a big plus.
  • Cisco CCNA is desirable.
  • 3+ years’ experience in hands-on IT administration related to above accountabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Greek.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills on short timeframes.
