We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our BI & Strategy team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Data Strategy & Execution, you'll be responsible to:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand their functional and technical data requirements, and develop datasets to meet these needs.
• Partner with customer success, support, and operations teams to understand their data needs, KPIs, metrics, and insights, and contribute to the enterprise data roadmap.
• Develop and regularly review data dictionaries and metric definitions for various business functions, technical datasets, and metrics.
• Design Tableau dashboards to provide insights and reporting.
• Conduct data enablement sessions for business teams, communicating new datasets, metrics, and processes.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Over 6 years of experience in data initiatives, including data and systems analysis, storytelling, and data engineering, with a focus on reporting, analytics, and process automation.
• Experience with analytics frameworks and methodologies, data visualization principles, and source systems/business applications such as Salesforce, Hadoop, and Big Data Architecture.
• Experience in building data roadmaps for customer success and support groups, translating data needs into functional and technical requirements for the data engineering team.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau and Looker.
• Experience collaborating with partners and users to understand, document, and implement data and analytics needs, as well as implementing data governance frameworks and using industry-standard ETL tools (e.g., Matillion, DBT).

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and industry-standard ETL tools (e.g., Matillion, DBT).
• Practical experience and understanding of Python.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$105,000—$150,000 USD
