Director of Systems Operations

The Director Of Systems Operations is responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of AppFolio and other property management systems. This role ensures that technology solutions align with operational goals, streamlining workflows, improving data integrity, and enhancing reporting capabilities. The administrator serves as the primary point of contact for AppFolio system users, providing training, support, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency and user adoption. They also will be responsible for due diligence, dispositions, transitions, and acquisitions for AppFolio and all systems.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements)

• Lead a team for support and tracking for system training needs for all operations.
• Strong in building full entire workflows from OPS to Accounting
• Experience in real estate or property management operations preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational abilities
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to analyze and improve processes through automation and system configurations
• Experience training and supporting teams on software implementation and best practices
• Strong technical proficiency in CRM platforms, database management, and reporting tools
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property management systems administration, preferably with AppFolio

What you are great at: (Responsibilities) 

• Develop and maintain takeover, acquisitions, and dispositions work flows regarding all systems the operations teams are using.
• Maintain 99% uptime, users and performance for AppFolio and related property management systems
• Work closely with IT to ensure user roles and security permission settings are kept current in accordance with employee roster and current position.
• Monitor user access and permissions, adjusting as necessary to maintain data integrity
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies
• Monitor team adoption and recommend enhancements to improve productivity
• Create user guides and standard operating procedures for system utilization
• Provide ongoing user support, addressing software-related issues and inquiries
• Develop and conduct training programs for property management staff on AppFolio best practices
• Serve as the primary contact for AppFolio support and system improvements
• Customize workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency
• Maintain data accuracy by ensuring consistent entry and record-keeping procedures across teams
