HKHS Musical Choreographer

Description:

Job Summary:Job Goal:                     To create dances and/or movement for each song in the musical and teach those movements to the cast.  This person should be able to notate all dances, be able to follow a tight schedule and work with actors who have had no experience with dance.
Work Period:              
§  During production of musical which varies with the demands of the show
§  Person must be available afternoons and Saturdays.                                                                   
Performance Responsibilities:
§  Create large scale dance numbers and movement for individual soloists
§  Have a good vision of the time period in which the show takes place
§  Work with teens
§  Work with all non-dancers
§  Ensure that all movements are appropriate, politically correct, and are not suggestive of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or sex.

• Adhere to all BOE policies and other co-curricular policies and regulations
