We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic Cloud Services and Delivery (CS&D) organization at SAP in the Netherlands. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journey of our customers by designing and implementing scalable and innovative solutions based on SAP technologies. This is a local role because of customer proximity requirements. 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and define technology strategies aligned with SAP's product portfolio.
• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration aspects.
• Develop architectural governance, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the execution of technology initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to build architecture teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, promoting reusability and adherence to SAP's architectural principles.
• Conduct technology assessments and facilitate decision-making processes to support solution adoption and investment prioritization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in enterprise architecture and SAP offerings, actively participating in professional development activities.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

• Very strong knowledge with a proven projects record a few of the following areas where you acted as enterprise architect:

Technology:

• • BTP, Integration, AI, Keep the Core Clean, Extensibility concept
  • Data Analytics
  • Security
  • Cloud Architecture
  • Or other SAP solution areas
• SAP Products and Methods Knowledge:
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Product Portfolio (Cloud solutions, S/4HANA, ..)
  • Industry Solutions (in related industry area) - Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures
• Certification / competence in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
  • S/4HANA Functional Modules as mentioned above.
  • Project Management (e.g., SAP Activate, SAFE)
  • TOGAF
  • EA Tooling
• Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines 
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner 
• Willingness and ability to travel to customers 
• Resilience in challenging customer situations to sustain Enterprise Architecture engagements and make them successful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
