JOB SUMMARY:
Contribute to the success of the property by operating a productive and exciting restaurant.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Energetic people person who is a highly visible front-of-house manager specializing in building strong relationships with guests and Team Members
- Prepare annual budgets and plans for restaurants
- Prepare annual staffing projections for restaurants and kitchens
- Provide input and feedback on menu design
- Ensure all food and beverages served meet established standards
- Enforce appearance standards
- Encourage Spotlight standards; serve as Spotlight role model
- Build templates for schedules, shift logs, and seating charts
- Ensure service recovery activities
- Select new Team Members, train, and provide each with the knowledge, development, and appropriate direction to perform their responsibilities
- Ensure all work schedules are posted timely as required, and Team Members are properly notified of any changes
- Provide continuous positive coaching for the development of Team Members and appropriate corrective action when necessary
- Ensure completion and delivery of timely and accurate performance appraisals and maintain accurate work history entries
- Special projects, as requested
- Exhibit sound decision-making with an emphasis on motivating the team and maintaining high morale
- Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
- Develop and maintain strong teamwork between the front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant personnel, as well as work with other departments for the overall good of the casino
- Responsible for or actively participates in the initiation of personnel actions, including but not limited to interviews, Team Member development, training, candidate selection, terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions
- Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development, and appropriate direction to perform their responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Monitor Team Members with cash to ensure proper cash-handling procedures
- Conduct a physical inventory of barware and requisition replacement items as needed
- Ensure all Team Members are following the guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Commission and NC ABC Commission
- Monitor asset control of liquor bottles, draft and bottled beer, and wine
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
- Other duties as assigned

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- A BSBA from an accredited educational institution in business or hospitality is preferred
- Three years of managerial or supervisory experience in the Food and Beverage industry is required
- RASP certification is required*
- Manager ServSafe certification is required**
