Global Talent Management Practice Director

This role is integral in translating business strategy into talent &amp; organisational strategies and actions, helping us deliver on our mission to push the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines. As the Global Talent Management Practice Director, you will lead the overall Talent Management group, reporting to the Global Head of Talent &amp; Organisation Effectiveness, and be part of the Talent &amp; Development CoE.</p><p></p><p>Accountabilities:<br/>You will shape the way we develop our early, mid and late stage pipeline of talent through designing cutting edge development interventions, behavioural assessments, stretch assignments and analytical insights. Your role will include maintaining, governing and optimizing cross-business area talent programs and practices, developing an impactful talent and early talent development strategy, supporting targeted development programs, and enhancing our Talent technology strategy.</p><p></p><p>Essential Skills/Experience:<br/>- Minimum 10-12 years of Talent Development, Organization Development, top tier Management Consultancy or related Global HRBP/Large market HRD experience<br/>- Minimum 5 years of managing a team<br/>- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously<br/>- Experience working in a multinational, multicultural and highly matrixed environment<br/>- Proven track record of developing and implementing talent development strategies and initiatives that drive business results and enhance employee engagement.<br/>- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or related field</p><p></p><p>Desirable Skills/Experience:<br/>- Experience managing large scale projects coordinating multiple stakeholders<br/>- Experience leading and developing consultative/project management teams<br/>- Familiar with talent intelligence and organisation strategic planning digital platforms &amp; vendors<br/>- Ability to translate business strategy into measurable development objectives<br/>- Proven consultative ability and mindset to work with senior leaders and their teams to assess key skill gaps and design effective interventions to accelerate leadership potential.</p><p></p><p>At AstraZeneca, you will join a talented global team that's powering us to better serve patients, every day.
