Job Description Summary
As a member of a world class team, the Manufacturing Improvement Engineer will be responsible for Process and quality improvements for the Clearwater facility which includes multiple product lines. This person will utilize their experience to execute a strategy to reduce inventory, lead time, and waste.Job Description
Essential Functions
Drive operational excellence at the clearwater plant through kaizen and lean events, continuous improvement activities and projects
Act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology using state-of-the art tools and methodologies,
Educate, coach, and mentor others on Lean philosophy and application
Identify potential process improvement projects, drive lean manufacturing activities and ensure progress while tracking project status and closure
Develop and coordinate lean manufacturing training and education
Leverage best practice strategies and drive consistencies across site
Facilitate kaizen events, develop sustainment plans and present to leadership
Guide functional teams in developing and executing lean plans to reduce cycle time, inventory and waste to improve process quality and create capacity
Assist functional managers in establishing a process flow
Encourage use of lean tools to pull material from internal sources / customers
Remain current on lean methodologies and train within the Plant on lean concepts and mentor people using lean tools

Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma and equivalent experience)
3 Years of experience working in a manufacturing environment that includes Lean concepts & tools
Desired Characteristics:
Engineering degree
OMLP Graduate
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs
Established project management skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
