<p><strong>Role responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>The Global Functions Controller has responsibility for financial planning, analysis and reporting of Global Functions based in Paris. He/She will support the R&D, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, Marketing and Medical team by providing financial guidance in all relevant financial matters related to Budgeting, Forecasting and Monthly closing and will work together with the Head of Finance for Global Functions based in Basel. </p>
<p>Main responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li>In charge of controlling activities for R&D, Marketing, Medical, Pharmacovigilance, Market access and other supporting functions</li><li>Perform planning cycles (Budget, and all planning events) including any required system submission. </li><li>Accurate and timely delivery of monthly management reporting </li><li>Consolidate all inputs and liaise with business partners to review and validate assumptions and accuracy of the data. </li><li>Perform all required system submissions, support with the consolidation and liaise with the Consolidation team as required.</li><li>Partner with the business to provide financial inputs in the decision making process. Support with the preparation of presentations for Senior Management</li><li>Conduct ad-hoc financial modelling, cost analysis and sensitivity analysis to support the development and/or review of business cases</li><li>Maintain an understanding of Recordati Rare Diseases working practices and SOPs and relevant country codes and ensuring these standards are met across the organisation</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA qualification is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).</li><li>5/10 years Experience in FP&A and Business Partnering ideally in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.</li><li>Proficiency in financial systems and tools (ERP, SAP, Hyperion, etc.) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Able to synthetize and communicate complex information in a concise and action-oriented manner.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Strong Business acumen, proactive and with agile mindset </li><li>Proactive personality with the ability to interact and present to senior management. </li><li><strong>English mandatory</strong></li></ul>
