Job Description Summary
The Digital Transformation Program Manager (DTPM) is part of the Integrated Supply Chain’s (ISC) Digital Transformation & Intelligent Automation organization, reporting to the DT Portfolio and Program Management Leader.This role is responsible for developing the strategy and leading execution of the AVEVA digital technology implementation in BD’s manufacturing sites worldwide. The DTPM collaborates with leaders in Finance, Technology, OpEx, Business, and Manufacturing to establish a cohesive strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan(s) supporting achievement of use-case and company goals, specifically OEE/OLE (Overall Equipment / Labor Effectiveness). Endorses views, plans, and processes aligned with BD’s Digital Transformation vision and strategy.
The DT Program Manager for AVEVA partners closely with Finance to build a robust business-case / ROI model; OpEx leaders to determine a prioritization/deployment strategy; Tehcnonology and Global Services leaders to ensure an adequate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is followed; Digital Deployment leaders to establish a resource framework for effective execution in sites. Applies technical and program leader expertise enabling value & benefits realization as defined by the business-case.
Additionally, the Program Manager contributes to defining, developing, and maintaining program / project management standards, processes, and tools. This includes but is not limited to governance, change management / communication, and use of Lean principles. The DTPM sets expectations for and guides Project Leads in the application of established standards and best practices.
Scope includes activities in the following Phases:
o Strategic Planning & Readiness (assessment)
o Deployment & Implementation (execution)
o Adoption & Scaling (utilization / replication / expansion)
o Transition to Performance Measurement & Sustaining (metrics / continuous improvement)
