About the role

We are looking for a dedicated HR professional, to guide our Laatzen HR team and provide comprehensive HR support to the organization and management to achieve business goals. 

Reporting to the HR Director, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, a strategic advisor to our business leaders and main responsible person for all local HR activities. You will encourage business efficiency and success through Human Resources functions you coordinate including, but not limited to, talent management, development, headcount management, employee relations and engagement, industrial relations, communication, reporting, compensation and analysis.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Build strong partnership with management and employees to coordinate personnel actions, create a work environment equipped to meet business needs and maintain an efficient and active two-way communication between them.
  • Proactively identify HR challenges together with the HR Director DACH and offer solutions to create a sustainable and effective work environment. 
  • Serve as main contact and build rapport with works council. 
  • Provide support with organizational development and leadership planning by driving Talent Management processes.
  • Lead local HR projects and support EMEA/global projects.
  • Administer and develop effective policies, procedures, and programs to uphold fair and equitable practices and guarantee adherence to law and labor agreements. Interpret, advise, and counsel employees and management on policies and HR procedures. 
  • Analyze and make recommendations for a competitive pay and benefits strategy. 
  • Manage the full recruitment process for the complete organization in Laatzen. Manage new hire onboarding as well as leaving employee processes.
  • Manage the various corporate compliance programs and perform as an Ethics contact for employees
  • Ensure consistent application of Corporate / European HR Policies and procedures at the local level and closely work together with the HR Director DACH. 
  • Supervise and manage Emerson’s Performance management system. Ensure a full compliance with the local legislation.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • University background, ideally in a Human Resources field.
  • Proven experience in HR and working with works councils.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices as well as experience in developing, driving and maintaining HR projects and programs.
  • Ability to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.
  • Good knowledge of the labor legislation of Germany.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English. Any other languages are an asset.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Master’s in Human Resources or an MBA or equivalent experience. 
  • HR business partner experience within in an international, matrix organization and manufacturing environment.
