Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing software testing activities across multiple projects. They will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying defects to ensure high-quality software is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects and issues
• Take the lead in designing, developing, and implementing automation strategy frameworks for software QA
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure software quality compliance with business requirements
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Build sophisticated systems with seamless integration of multiple components to enhance performance
• Create robust automated tests for complex integrations, ensuring system reliability and scalability
• Ensure accuracy and integrity in software development with stringent data validation processes
• Ability to strengthen security in sensitive environments, preventing system failures and ensuring secure operations
• Commit to superior engineering, applying industry best practices and innovative methods for high-quality and efficient software solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python development
• Strong proficiency with implementing, and knowledge of, Gherkin (or similar) testing
• Ability to design and implement enterprise-grade testing automation strategies
• Ability to lead a technical project, with responsibility for project planning, and effective cross-functional communication and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with Gherkin Style Testing within a BDD environment
• 6+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools such as Cucumber or similar
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr
• Experience with performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of web application development and QA processes

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $156,000 - $217,000*
