Armanino's Business Outsourcing Services (BOS) Finance practice delivers world-class finance capability to growing companies that need a full office of the CFO. As a Senior Consultant, you are a core part of that delivery. You serve multiple clients simultaneously, act as a proactive thought partner, and bring financial clarity and insight that directly drives client success.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Prepare financial and KPI reporting packages, including variance analysis and presentations that translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Build and maintain financial models supporting business decisions across revenue, expenses, profitability, scenario planning, and ad hoc analyses.

  • Develop and support budgeting and forecasting processes, including template creation, data consolidation, and ongoing refinement.

  • Serve as a client-facing advisor, communicate findings clearly, and influence decisions at the CEO and CFO level.

  • Manage deliverables across a portfolio of clients, balancing timelines and maintaining quality and responsiveness for each engagement.

  • Keep client engagement managers informed on work status, value delivered, and any items of concern.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance efficiency across client engagements.

  • Leverage Armanino's internal network of CFOs, Controllers, and subject matter experts to deliver quality expertise on behalf of clients.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar finance role

  • Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced modeling and scenario analysis; this is a core requirement of the role

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to and advising C-suite stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with a high degree of independence and ownership

  • Familiarity with modern FP&A platforms and AI-enabled financial planning, forecasting, and analytics tools, and an interest in how technology can improve client insight and decision-making

  • Background in investment banking, corporate finance, or high-volume analytical environments is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, MBA, or CMA designation
