Description 

The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 2nd through August 3rd. We are committed to your professional development so during your time here, you can expect to participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, speaker series, volunteer activities, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with your global peers across the world!  

 

The Process Development Group develops bulk & filling processes and are responsible for the initial full-scale production for all goods produced at the Shiseido East Windsor facility.

 

Responsibilities:

• One development Project (Bulk Process & Filling)
• Evaluating transfer of existing products plus current development projects to skid system vacuum processing unit.
• Study difference in cooling rate and final product between manufacturing scale single-wall Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger & pilot scale double-wall Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger  

 

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Must be actively enrolled in matriculating college degree program in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and be highly organized
• Maintain professionalism while interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Must be able to commute to designated workplace and work the required weekly schedule associated with department
• Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
