The part-time HR assistant performs a wide range of HR related duties to support to the San Antonio plant in the following areas: recruitment, training and development, employee relations, benefits, compensations, workers compensation, leave administration, and HRIS system management.

Job Description:

• Maintain Employee Forms Center including Workday Employee Self-Service Instructions for updating HR/Benefits/Payroll related actions, and Employee Benefits Center.
• Track employee engagement and recognition and monthly totals/report
• Administer Employee Locker Assignments
• Assist with NEO packets preparation
• Administer Employee Uniform Program (for New Hires, Exchanges, and Terms) – Audit Monthly Invoices
• Maintain company’s safety shoe program
• Maintain Prescription Safety Glasses voucher program – New Hires and Annual Replacements – Audit monthly Invoices
• Create and maintain all electronic personnel files (scanning a high volume of documents for official personnel files)
• Administer the 30/60/90 Introductory Evaluation Process for the hourly plant workforce.
• A full range of clerical duties (i.e., filing, scanning, mail distribution for the mail, etc.)
• Updating the Plant TV communications (weekly)
• Assist employees with a full range of inquiries, to include Workday Employee Self Service features for name, address and emergency contact information changes, as well as payroll deductions and direct deposit requests in ADP, etc.
• Maintain the Facility Badge Access System / Issue new hire and replacement ID Badges
• Maintain daily attendance call in log and ensure UKG schedules are updated timely
• Assist HRG/HRM with candidate phone screens for hourly plant positions
• Assist with Employee Engagement Events/Decorating Breakroom
• Discipline Tracking / Spreadsheet and Scanning to personnel files
• Other duties as assigned
