Job Description
As a valued contributor to our team, you will work with team members on methods and processes for managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals. In this role, you will provide advanced analytical support to make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will develop processes to enhance coordination with other teams and ensure support of the portfolios.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Enterprise Planning - Portfolio Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Support Portfolio planning and manage engagement with key stakeholders across business, technology, finance, strategy, and other supporting groups, with goal of driving achievement of key deliveries in support of Fannie Mae’s Strategic Plan.
- Engage with stakeholders, to support administration of Portfolio & Program Management Policy and Standard for the Enterprise.
- Support Capacity Based Planning initiative including the development of performance snapshots, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and executive reporting for senior management.
- Synthesize analysis and recommendations for senior level audiences
- Provide complex analysis of data and information gathered for reports to be presented to internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Monitor lean governance compliance and manage first line operational risk.
- Assess current and future state tooling.
- Provide ad hoc support for Strategy Enablement initiatives as needed.

- Experience managing project plans and resources to ensure successful project completion
- Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
- Business Insight skills including interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
- Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
- Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
- Communication skills including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
- Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
