Work Flexibility: Onsite<p></p><p></p><p><u><b>Senior Manager, Environmental Health &amp; Safety </b></u></p><p>Our Stryker manufacturing site in Montbonnot is looking for a driven and experienced EHS Senior Manager with focus on Environmental Health &amp; Safety (EHS) to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will be developing strategic direction, setting objectives, and determining direction for the EHS functions including, but not limited to, safety, environment, security, budget, and business continuity.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do:</b></p><ul><li>Strategic and operational EHS, leadership for developing the strategic direction and goals of the EHS function to ensure alignment with Stryker and site objectives.</li><li>EHS SME for internal and external audits. Implement corrective actions as assigned. Specific areas of compliance responsibility include environmental controls, global and local safety standards, pest control, utility (air, water, gas) controls, employee/contractor training, documentation of equipment maintenance activities.</li><li>Manage EHS functions. Develops procedures and programs to maintain quality/regulatory compliance. This position is responsible to ensure that all global and site requirements are met and reported.</li><li>Act as primary contact in communications with local law enforcement, and local fire department.</li><li>Develop and direct safety and environment programs to EHS functions. Areas of responsibility include global and local environmental &amp; safety programs, guard service, access control, life fire safety system, incident investigations, and safety prevention programs.</li><li>Responsible for the Safety Committee for Working Conditions (C2SCT), regulatory authorities and insurance companies.</li><li>Ensure cultural and individual development of employees according to Stryker's leadership principles, ethical-standards, EHS- &amp; quality-policies and HR practices.</li><li>Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including collecting requirements, statement of works, and developing estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.</li><li>Maintain service agreements with contractor service providers such as: waste recycle, fire safety, security, insurance….</li><li>Define and publish metric reports for key performance parameters including utility data, incidents, near misses, safety observations, etc.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who are we looking for:  </b></p><ul><li><b>Goal-oriented orchestrators.</b> People who can effectively coordinate and focus the work of skilled employees toward an important goal, prioritizing to the right activities that lead to success.</li><li><b>Managers who drive performance.</b> People who implement process improvements and leverage the talent of their team to consistently increase performance and productivity.</li><li><b>Effective communicators.</b> People who can interpret information clearly and accurately to concisely communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, senior management, and their teams.</li><li><b>Quality-focused team driver</b>s.
