Join us!<br/></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day planning and engineering activities for the assigned internal projects or with projects developed with our suppliers/contractors. This includes requirements consolidation, technical direction, gate review preparation and regular interaction with the customer, internal teams, suppliers and contractors, systems integrators or any other actors related to the project. Success in the position will require attention to detail, following through on action item lists and ensuring technical accuracy of the program.</p><p><strong>Main Tasks and Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Focal and interface with Customer and external suppliers for specific Hardware LRUs (Line Replaceable Units) or modules </li> <li>Requirements elaboration and Technical specification, providing design oversight to ensure alignment to product development and program roadmaps</li> </ul><ul> <li> Review and approval of design-, test- and qualification documentation according to internal, customer and aviation processes, ensuring adherence to the program requirement verification matrix</li> <li> Tasks coordination with multi-site teams (testing, production, supply chain, quality) and maintaining project Dashboards</li> <li> Preparing and managing Design reviews with customers and suppliers, in alignment with the Product Management team</li> <li> Perform other job-related duties as assigned</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field</li><li> 6+ years of proven experience in aviation products development and their regulations (e.g. DO-160, DO-254, EASA Part 21)</li><li> Experience working in a similar role preferably in the field of Inflight Connectivity or Satellite Communication systems is a plus</li><li> Familiarity with aircraft installation design and Aviation standards is a plus</li><li> Experience with design tools including Altium Designer, Solid Works, AutoCAD or similar design software would be useful</li><li> Prior Project management experience is a plus</li><p><br/></p><p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p><li> Strong written and verbal English communication skills</li><li> Proactive, organized and a team player mindset</li><li> Ability to efficiently resolve problems</li><li> Ability to accomplish multiple tasks</li><li> Ability to work independently, with minimal direction</li><li> Ability to use discretion and independent judgment when making decisions on behalf of the company</li><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>You will have the opportunity to contribute to challenging tasks in the field of Aviation and Inflight Entertainment technologies.
