With a 24/7 operation, fully automated equipment and a significant capacity expansion on the horizon, reliable and integrated data analysis is crucial for success.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Role and responsibilities:</span></b></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping and applying data analytics for operational excellence, strategic decision-making, and risk management. You combine in-depth technical skills with business sensitivity. You will work with an Integral Demand &amp; Supply Data Foundation, optimize processes, and develop risk analytics that deliver direct value to the terminal. Strategic Analysis &amp; Value-Driven Insights</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop integrated analyses on capacity, occupancy, throughput and supply/demand alignment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead scenario and risk analysis (Risk Analytics) for operational and strategic decision-making.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support Senior management team, Tech management team and transformation team with fact-driven underpinning for investments, improvement programs, and capacity choices.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>2. Data Foundations &amp; Governance</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Work with the Lead Data Analyst to build a scalable, reliable data landscape.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design and monitor data quality, metadata, validation rules, and data structures that support analytics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure alignment with corporate data governance, compliance and global standards.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>3. Performance Monitoring &amp; Optimization</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Build end-to-end performance reports and dashboards with insights into bottlenecks, efficiency and opportunities for improvement.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyse KPI deviations and lead structural root cause analyses.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work on continuous improvement of business processes based on data insights and impact evaluation.</span></p></li></ul><p><span>  </span></p><p><b><span>4. Stakeholder Alignment &amp; Visual Storytelling</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Translate complex datasets into understandable, actionable visualizations and dashboards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Advise stakeholders from operations to board level in making data-driven decisions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Increase data maturity within MVII through coaching, workshops and presentations.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>5. Mentoring &amp; Thought Leadership</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Take a leading role in further developing the Advanced Analytics team.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Coach junior analysts and stimulate professional growth and collaboration.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to the vision of analytics within APMT MVII: from ad hoc analyses to predictive management.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Requirements:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span> <span>8–10 years of proven experience in data analysis within a complex, technical environment (logistics, supply chain, industry).</span></span></p></li><li><p><span>In-depth experience with integrated datasets, forecasting, performance monitoring and risk modelling.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with stakeholder management, data governance and the implementation of analytics solutions in the operation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Affinity with or experience in container terminals or the maritime sector is an advantage.</span></p></li></ul><p><b><span> </span></b></p><p><b><span>Technical skills</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Expert in SQL, data modelling and data structures; experience with SSMS and/or cloud-based data solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Power BI, Python, Excel, PowerPoint.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiar with agile tools (such as Jira/Confluence) and used to working in multidisciplinary teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of data architecture, validation processes and integration of operational and planning data.</span></p></li></ul><p><b><span> </span></b></p><p><b><span>Personal competencies</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Analytically strong, strategic thinking and persuasive in communication.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Practical and result-oriented, with a keen sense of business impact.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proactive connector between data and operation; knows how to convey complexity clearly.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong presentation and visualization
