Data Entry for Accounting Team Support

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance department as a Data Entry for our Accounting Team Support member. This member will be a support to our accounting team. If you possess a strong background in accounting principles and have great organizational skills, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Transfer data from various sources (e.g., Google Sheets, emails) into designated databases (e.g., Airtable, accounting software)
• Provide comprehensive data entry support to the Finance and Accounting departments
• Execute timely and accurate billing processes including regular and usage-based billing, refunds, credits, and payment applications
• Update and maintain accurate accounting records, including new payments, balances, and customer information
• Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of financial data before entering it into systems
• Ensure all transactions are accurately coded and classified
• Assist in preparing month-end revenue reports and other financial statements as needed
• Collaborate with various departments to support financial operations and address inquiries

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
• 2+ years of experience in data entry or accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $22.00-$26.00/hr
