Position Overview:

The Commercial Analyst will analyze business performance, pricing strategies, and market trends to provide actionable insights that drive revenue growth and profitability. This role involves close collaboration with finance and commercial teams to prepare financial models, analyze performance data, and support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, sales, and profitability across different business units.
• Prepare reports highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Pricing & Revenue Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to optimize profitability and competitiveness. Monitor the impact of pricing changes on margins and revenue growth.
• Forecasting & Budgeting Support: Assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor performance to provide insights into the company’s pricing and positioning strategies.
• Business Case Development: Support the preparation of business cases for new initiatives, product launches, or investments. Conduct financial evaluations, including ROI analysis.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights that support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial or commercial analysis.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in pricing analysis and revenue management is a plus.
