The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service utilising 9 main Operating Theatres. The Role:

The Anaesthetic ANUM, in collaboration with the NUM and Leadership team, supports excellence in clinical practice and promotes a positive workplace culture.

You will need:

• The successful applicant will have a comprehensive range of Anaesthetic experience, knowledge and skills.
• A high level of communication, problem solving and organisational skills are required to ensure success in the role.
• The successful applicant will thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment to deliver safe and positive patient outcomes.

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 44 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you would like to join our team.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

• Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications
• Holds, or is working towards, Paediatric/Neonatal Resuscitation skills
• Minimum 5 years specialist experience in Anaesthetics
• Current Advanced Life Support Certificate
