Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dedicated functional areas such as credit controller, general ledger accountant, or other accounting specialist  

• Perform postings in the area of responsibility (e.g. Supplier accounting or debtors accounting or general ledger)  

• Run all relevant activities with the area of responsibility to safeguard an efficient data flow (e.g. dunning processes  or payment runs or asset inventory count) 

• Safeguard all legal requirements with regards to local and international accounting rules  

• Clarify complains or positions not running within the standard processes 

Additional Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement in area of responsibility 

• Run pro-actively projects to improve processes and challenge the status quo 

• Providing input to all change projects like new IT systems or new processes  

• Safeguard all requirements of segregation of duties for the company in the area of responsibility 

• Involvement in internal and external audits  

• Masterdata management in close cooperation with sales or purchasing department

• Directly Reports to: Manager Accounting

Interactions (internal & external)

• Internal communication with cost centre managers, purchasing department or Sales/KAM functions  

• Suppliers and Debtors 

• Banks 

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

• Fluent English written and spoken to lead correspondence with FHCS group wide stakeholders 

• Experience (3-6 years) working in the finance and accounting area 

Specific knowledge

• Good Local GAAP and IFRS Accounting knowledge 

• FI module of SAP or other System in the country applied for the relevant area of responsibility 

• Basic understanding of Lean/PIAS Methods
