Senior Finance Associate

Wantable, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our finance team on-site in Milwaukee, WI. The Senior Finance Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable, coding review, general ledger entry, assisting with financial reporting, sales tax remittance, and asset/depreciation management. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record daily sales for Wantable Inc.
• Track, report, and remit payment by due dates for all applicable sale taxes
• Process and route all requests for asset purchases, donation requests, memberships, subscriptions, and contracts
• Maintain contract database
• Review non-inventory purchases over $500 for capitalization
• Manage Asset and depreciation records
• Assist with month-end processes
• Maintain schedules for prepaid, sales tax, bad debt, and deferred revenue
• Perform bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations as assigned
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Assist in the annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes within the organization
• Working knowledge of Google products
• Preferred experience in retail
