MHA Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Who we’re looking for:
The Director, Network Solutions, will be a strategic, innovative leader with a hands-on approach. They will oversee the design, development, and administration of the network brand, competitive positioning, solution development, and performance management within the Long Term Care Pharmacy (LTCP) Network. This role involves leading contracting strategies for PBM activities, conducting quarterly Member Business Reviews, and managing a team of Network Specialists to engage MHA LTCP members and internal teams. The Director will work closely with executives, track key project progress, and collaborate with various teams to ensure effective communication and partnerships. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Long Term Care Pharmacy, PBM/Healthcare reimbursement, and commercialization within competitive markets, as well as strong relationship-building skills. Additionally, they will help implement new services, drive innovation, and support the Vice President, Network Solutions in other tasks as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Thinking & Innovation
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to design, develop, and administer network solutions.
- Design and implement innovative solutions that provide incremental member value while maintaining MHA’s competitive advantage.
Contracting & Negotiation Expertise
- Participate in annual contracting activities, developing relationships with key PBM partners (including a Big 3 PBM and smaller PBMs).
- Build effective relationships to help resolve conflicts and maximize contract value. Be a subject matter expert (SME) on current MHA agreements.
Network Brand & Solution Development
- Work with marketing, ad boards, and cross-functional MHA teams to create fluid, value-based messaging.
- Develop and maintain the network brand and messaging. Lead the design and development of network solutions and tools that address member needs and deliver value.
Relationship Management
- Lead Member Business Reviews and QBRs, uncover member needs, and provide insights to enhance outcomes.
- Build and maintain key customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders (PBMs), assisting in conflict resolution and contract negotiation.
Healthcare Reimbursement & Market Insight
- Expertise in Long Term Care Pharmacy, PBM/Healthcare reimbursement economics, and competitor analysis to interpret regulatory challenges and opportunities, collaborating with MHA’s Legislative team and supporting member needs.
Project Management & Execution
- Track key project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, ensuring projects and initiatives are aligned with goals and meet expected outcomes.
- Maintain network performance dashboards and provide valuable insights to members and business partners, set measurable goals and benchmarks to measure progress.
Team Development
- Work with internal teams (e.g., trade relations, operations, finance, legal) and external partners to ensure effective execution and alignment. Design and implement network solutions and tools.
