The Job:
As a Sr. Licensing Sales Manager you’ll be part of our Global eCommerce Licensing team as a remote employee. This role involves supporting our licensing business in accounts within North American retailers of various sizes. Including but not limited to: Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and the Club channel. The candidate must be sales-driven, self-starter, committed and highly motivated in delivering new deals as well as implementing the licensing strategy for the Global portfolio of Brands. They will have the ability to present and negotiate with key decision makers, provide brand and licensee management, and must display a ‘can do’ attitude to working across all business functions both internal and external. You’ll get to:
Key influencer & liaison, working cross-functionally with Global Licensee Managers/Directors, Core Sales and Channel Teams and Brand Leadership to drive annual Licensing Plans.
Establish and maintain business relationships with National Retail Key Decision Makers (KDMs) to identify opportunities for category expansions and branded product conversions.
Develop 3yr strategy plans for account growth, marketing integration, and joint sales opportunities (core and licensing).
Manage all Commercial aspects of our various licensing businesses across all Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) brands.
Develop & implement strategic sales and marketing plans for various Stanley Black & Decker brands including DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK + DECKER, and Troy-Bilt. Includes ongoing management of relevant brands for licensees.
Act as a consultant to licensing partners on retail engagement and Product Line Review process (approach, data support).
Take full ownership of the sales cycle which includes listing presentations, execution, forecasting, Point of Sales (POS) reviews and promotional planning.
Educate retailers, internal SBD partners and licensees on Licensing and the role that it plays at SBD and in the marketplace.
Continuously evolve and understand the competitive landscape in order to secure new product placement opportunities.
Interact weekly with retailers, channel marketing & core sales on new products and promotions.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline is required.
8-10 years of sales/ marketing experience, preferably with National Retailers, with at least 5 years of direct outreach to retailers.
3+ years of experience with Home Depot or Lowes is preferred.
Experience working with retailers, buyers, and key decision makers across multiple categories; thorough knowledge of the workings of retail business.
Prepared to travel up to 25% domestically.
