We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join the team Systems Engineering Simulator Integrated Studies Team with ERC, a teammate company.
The Systems Engineering Simulator Integrated Studies Team Software Developer will:
- Work closely with customer to capture and manage simulation and software requirements.
- Design and develop software.
- Perform integration and testing of software with visuals and human-in-the-loop mock-ups.
- Perform software testing and verification.
- Troubleshoot simulation issues as they arise.
- Develop software documentation.
- Interface with customers for simulation sessions and studies, including setup, simulation execution and follow-up.
- Demonstrate simulations and facilities to SES visitors and customers.
- Perform rapid troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Successfully operate in a highly dynamic simulations engineering environment with a team of engineers working to rapidly develop spacecraft simulation functionality.
- Strong customer focus, highly effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing engineering environment with demanding customers on a compressed schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related area or experience in the field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstration of ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Experience with Linux.
- Computer programming experience.
Requisition Preferences:
- BS Degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.
- Experience with the following programming/scripting languages:
- C/C++
- Python
