As our Eyefinity/VSP Vision Intern, you’ll work within Eyefinity’s Practice Management Engineering - Insurance Domain Team, where you’ll gain professional experience working with multiple tools and technologies. You’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about technologies that support the operation of thousands of Optometry offices, and under the guidance of a mentor, you may assist with the following duties:   

• Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, business partners, and leaders on coding and debugging
• Deliver effective technical documentation, automated test scripts, and software components
• Translate user stories and requirements, develop automated test scripts, and implement test scripts and software components within projects
• Support technical design, planning, testing, and implementation within the Agile development process

  

Preferred Skills:    

• Programming skills, such as C# and .NET framework
• Experience with JavaScript and Angular for front-end development
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database management

• Ability to work independently, manage time, and organize and complete work based on priority

Education Level: 3rd year/4th year college

  

Degree Target: Computer Science or equivalent 

 

Program Dates: June 2nd to Aug 8th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)
