We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. This position could be with an office based in Paris, Barcelone, or Remotely in Spain, France, Germany & Italy.
You will be part of the VOC (Voice of Customer) team. The main purpose of this team is to build tools that make gathering and analyzing customers' feedback easy. You'll mainly work on surveys that allow for staying in touch with a user base by learning about issues, hearing ideas for the product, and testing concepts. The surveys are used across hundreds of thousands of websites, and we believe we can combine customizing the experience while retaining the ease of use.
Stack / Tools: The team primarily uses Typescript, React, ReactQuery, and Zustand for development, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, and Chromatic for testing, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and Sentry and Datadog for observability.

What you will need to Succeed?

• +5 years experience in Javascript or Typescript, with hands-on experience in React.
• Problem-solving abilities: You are a great problem solver who knows how to frame a problem, make proposals, explain alternatives, and challenge assumptions.
• Proactive and ownership mindset: You are proactive and take ownership of your work. You are able to observe and analyze what happens in the team and the projects, detect opportunities, and take the initiative to solve them.

• Software development expertise: We highly value user experience, the quality of the interfaces we deploy, and the quality of the code written.
• Strong product focus and willingness delight customers: We are looking for engineers with a product-centric approach that are willing to understand in-depth the customers' needs and delight them with a great experience

What will be your Responsibilities?

• Develop and implement new features for Contentsquare’s product.
• Contribute to our web application and a client script code, run on millions of websites to display surveys.
• Evolve our distributed architecture with better isolation of our services and the creation of new products, to better meet the demands of our customers.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability and efficiency of the SaaS application.
• Play an active part in forming the product and tech vision of the product.
