Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies, including the design and launch of sponsorled and proprietary registries across multiple commodity classes (carbon, RECs, clean fuels, and others).

  • Evaluate emergent environmental and energy commodity markets to identify opportunities that strategically support the registry’s longterm evolution, platform expansion, and revenue growth.

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching priority growth targets—including corporates, regulators, lobbyists, and nonprofits—and engaging key decisionmakers and influencers.

  • Strategically cultivate relationships with key environmental commodity market stakeholders, including public agencies, NGOs, developers, industry associations, buyers, and marketplace facilitators

  • Serve as a brand ambassador at conference engagements and a representative at industry working groups

  • Proactively monitor public and private procurement opportunities and tenders; respond to referrals.

  • Assess and qualify tender and referral opportunities, taking ownership of proposal development and RFP responses to advance qualified deals.

  • Keep a near-real-time pulse on market intelligence, analyze key environmental commodity market developments, and communicate timely updates to inform the registry organization’s priorities, budget forecasts, resource allocation, and other critical work.

  • Build strong product and market knowledge by joining customer meetings and staying up to date on the latest industry trends – flagging and articulating those of commercial significance.

  • Plan and participate in conferences, events, and international forums that promote the maturation of the global environmental commodity markets, within which Xpansiv operates.

  • Some global travel may be required to support sales and business development activities.
