Job Description
We are searching for a Senior Manager of Strategic Operations to guide our approach to project management, workflows and cross-functional coordination of all Portfolio Marketing team projects. The role goes beyond to do lists and timelines – it’s about driving clarity, efficiency, and quality across complex, multi-channel work. A self-motivated and highly organized individual who understands digital video, on-air, print, CRM, paid social, and digital design formats and is an expert in project management software and theory is an ideal candidate.
This role is responsible for the team who manages the general oversight of the marketing workflow process, including project tracking, client and vendor communications, premium and print item orders, resource management, reporting, and helping teams deliver projects on time and on budget, and as such has meaningful influence on business outcomes. The Senior Manager of Strategic Operations supports all verticals, all brands and all groups within the Versant Digital Platforms & Ventures division, including such products as GolfNow, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and more.

Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of our project management tool (Asana) application and strategy, including but not limited to:
- Workflows: Own the end-to-end build and upkeep of all workflows, ensuring projects move efficiently from intake to delivery
- Goals: Establish team goal mapping structure tied to actual project work to showcase real-time progress to goals and give leadership visibility into key initiatives
- Workload management: work with CDs to ensure project team time logging to garner insights, plan ahead more precisely, and improve team efficiency and consistency
- Templates: Build & maintain all project templates, task lists, automations & rule bundles
- Reporting: Ensure visibility across all active projects, tracking status, timelines, and other key factors for a true snapshot of all work in progress at multiple levels; seek out additional enhancements via platforms such as Tableau and Power Bi for smarter decision making
- Relationship management: Build and foster bonds with key platform account owners that integrate with Asana, including JIRA, Salesforce, etc., as well as cross-functionality partnership with all teams with to increase adoption, prioritize work, and setting process standards with all DPV teams - inclusive of Creative, Video, Digital Ops, CRM, Paid, Marketing Analytics, and supporting teams (HR, Events, etc.)
- AI functionality integration: Stay on top of trends and new AI features that we can harness to enhance efficiency and speed to market
- Create documentation & maintain project management tool best practices for all:
- Address workflow and process pain points ad hoc as requested by marketing teams
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Standardized templates, briefs, and project documentation
- Drive adoption of best practices across teams
- Lead ongoing training sessions and host office hours for new and existing employees
- Effectively manage the Representative of Strategic Operations, whose main responsibility is creating and maintaining print and premium item vendor relations to place orders on behalf of stakeholders
- Establish new vendor setups
- Oversee invoicing for Creative team operations
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferably in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Communications
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within advertising, printer/reprographics business, production, digital & customer service-oriented environments
- Proficient with project management tools a mus
