Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 10% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

Manager, Business Operations - Salesforce - Remote PST

The Salesforce.com Manager leads and supports a team focused on the ongoing development, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role ensures the platform evolves in alignment with business needs while maintaining seamless system functionality. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Salesforce expertise and strategic leadership to improve CRM efficiency, increase user adoption, and enable strong cross-functional collaboration. 

 Essential Functions

  • Manage and mentor a growing team of Salesforce professionals
  • Design, implement, and oversee Salesforce architecture and roadmap to support business growth and scalability
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT) to gather business requirements and deliver CRM solutions
  • Oversee system configuration, custom development, integrations, and reporting across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Ensure data integrity, system security, and adherence to compliance standards across all Salesforce environments
  • Lead user training, support, and adoption efforts, ensuring platform usability and consistent usage
  • Manage third-party vendors and consultants, evaluating tools and integrations that enhance Salesforce functionality 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configuration and processes
  • Analyze platform performance, usage metrics, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and post-deployment support activities
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, trends, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud 
  • 3+ years of experience managing Salesforce professionals (e.g., Admins, Developers, BSAs) 
  • Proven success leading Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap in a cross-functional environment 
  • Experience in configuring Salesforce, managing releases, and supporting scalable solutions 
  • Strong knowledge of user access controls, roles/profiles, validation rules, flows, and automation 
  • Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Boomi) and external APIs 
  • Experience with reporting/analytics, including dashboards and KPI reporting within Salesforce 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies 
  • Strong understanding of change management, user adoption, and training best practices 

Preferred

  • Salesforce certifications, such as: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant 
  • Master’s degree in Business, IT, or related field 
  • Experience with Health Cloud, CPQ, or Experience Cloud 
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, life sciences) 
  • Experience working in multi-org environments or with Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations 
  • Familiarity with data tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, SQL)
