Essential Functions
- Performs specialized clerical work in preparing and maintain financial files.
- Maintain Membership Trust Fund and Benefit Fund accounts.
- Performs medical invoice tracking for resident medical billings from vendors.
- Schedules vehicles for home staff use
- Performs clerical functions including receiving, date stamping and delivery of mail.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of high school.
- One (1) year of office experience, including bookkeeping work.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience making rapid and accurate arithmetic calculations either manually or by machine.
- One (1) year of experience working with principles and functions of standard office accounting machines and equipment.
- Six (6) months experience working with coding, appropriations, and obligations.
- Six (6) months experience working with bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficient in the use of computers and computer software to include the Microsoft Suite, databases, and other computer applications.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires ability to pass a background check.
- Requires ability to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
- Requires ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related policies and guidance.
- Requires ability acquire and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
- Requires the ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
- Requires ability to attend seminars, conferences, and trainings to stay current on methods, tools, ideologies, or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties.
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Overtime is a condition or employment, and you may be required to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime.
