Read more about our part of the business <a href="https://www.arla.com/company/job-and-career/inside-arla/agriculture-sustainability/">here</a>.</p> <p> </p> <p>How will you make an impact?</p> <p>As the Global Senior Manager, you will be responsible for our raw milk quality and food safety at the farm for example by challenging and validating controls, procedures, and provisions. You will head up a team of 7 Specialists located across the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, and Germany. </p> <p> </p> <p>In addition, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Influence and lead Arla´s raw milk quality and help our farmer owners in seeking the best quality </li> <li>Lead Arla's global screening program for contaminants and be accountable for making decisions and managing global crises if non-conformities related to food safety and milk quality are detected in milk production at the farms.</li> <li>Build a strong network and actively seek knowledge on scientific advancements, legislation, and competitor analysis. You will utilize this knowledge to enhance standards within your area of expertise and act as a consultant for Arla's business groups, customers and farmer owners</li> <li>Collaborate closely with other global quality specialists in Arla to implement projects </li> <li>You will oversee our contracts and analytical specifications with external labs conducting quality analysis for settlement.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What will make you successful?</p> <p>To excel in this role, you should possess a Master's degree in Dairy Science and Technology, veterinary or a similar field, and have at least 10 years of experience in a quality environment, laboratory work, and/or the food industry. You thrive on acquiring new knowledge, you deal well with complexity, and your colleagues and team members recognize you as a team player with strong analytical skills and a track record of delivering results.
