Pratt & Whitney’s (P&W) Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group, Designers of advanced Fans and High Pressure Compressors, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Engineer to join its team in support of the F135 Sustainment Program at Tinker AFB, OK.
What You Wil do
- Work as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Support and participate in projects aimed at implementing designs, inspections, and repairs that meet advanced engine-specific requirements in operational service.
- Interface directly with the customer, the Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
- Conduct inspections and summarize and document findings in accordance with P&W procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Advanced Degree in engineering
- Design and/or Structures experience
- Knowledge of composite design and analysis technology, as well as manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods for composites.
- Possess strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
