What You Will Do

We’re looking for a motivated summer intern to support our data sustainment efforts. This role is critical to improving visibility into exception data, supporting airworthiness, and increasing the efficiency of fleet data correction efforts. This Internship opportunity will provide experience to work on data-related projects within the F135 Engine Program - Logistics Data systems, with several teams across the F135 Sustainment Enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Work on small-scale data-related projects with real operational impact

• Collect and interpret business requirements from stakeholders

• Develop dashboards or data visualizations to support decision-making

• Analyze trends to identify data anomalies and propose corrective actions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and operations

Qualifications You Must Have

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, or visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of ERP Systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in aviation, data integrity, or operational efficiency a plus

This position is classified as Onsite. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
