Thinset Shipping Supervisor 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

General Description:

Responsible for Shipping/Receiving Operations with accountability for the execution of daily shipping

schedules and associated Metrics. This position will take ownership for ensuring quality and safety

standards are being met across the department, and the staff is engaged with the Schluter vision.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

• Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S

• Complete Accident/Incident investigations in the KPA management system

• Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always Doing the right thing f or our customers.

• Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member

• Help in the relief of breaks as needed

• Maintain records and documentation

• Continuously coach employees on how to understand and identify  safety hazards. Develop a

culture where employees actively participate in addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors.

• Build a positive work atmosphere through open communication and behaving as a role model f or

others

• Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member with our manufacturing

engineering group, maintenance, and your staff . Ensure everyone has an equal voice and issues

are addressed in the right priority according to their criticality.

• Responsible for warehouse incoming and outgoing goods

• Ensure that our Physical inventory and System inventory are maintained.

• Optimize space by ensuring that everything is in its place

• Always maintain good housekeeping

• Develop skills and talents of Team Leads and Material Handlers

• Coordinate NCRs and returns

• Follow and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience:

• Prior experience in a shipping / receiving role

• General knowledge of warehouse procedures and record keeping

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound communication skills.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards

• Excellent problem-solving ability

• Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed

Education:

• Minimum of High School Diploma / GED and relevant experience

Physical Requirement:

• This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree and lifting up to 50

pounds occasionally and frequently lifting less than 10.
