Production Associate II - Thinset 2nd Shift (2:00 - 10:30 PM)

Description

Primary Responsibilities:

· Operate Mixing and Packaging Equipment in a Safe and Productive Manner

· Proven leadership skills working in a team environment

· Understand production standards and perform quality inspection of product as required

· Understand quality specifications and run process to conform to them

· Input Data for production reporting

· Complete Production Orders

· Skillful at troubleshooting operational and mechanical issues with machinery

· Make adjustments to production equipment as needed

· Make product changeovers as needed, including bag film, hood film, chemicals, pallets and slip sheets

· Experience with ERP-knowledge of Infor would be ideal

· Communicate with Supervisor on Safety, Quality, and Production issues

· Comply with occupational safety regulations including LO/TO

· Use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

· Perform raw material and product testing as required

· Take samples as directed

· Maintain good housekeeping on production floor

· Participates in Accident/Incident Investigation

· Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor

· Report any safety issues to Supervisor

· Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

· 2-year technical degree preferred or 3-5 years of machine operator experience in an industrial environment

· Above average Computer Competency

· Familiar with Man/Machine Interface

· Mechanical Aptitude

· Above average Math Skills

· Familiar with operation of automated production equipment 

· Ability to troubleshoot machine issues

· Experience with ERP -Infor 

· Competent in operation of Mixing and Packaging equipment

· Ability to lift 50 lbs., and utilize material handling equipment

· Understand functions and operation of each machine and its related controls

· Forklift Operation

· Team Player and works well with others

· Good communicator verbally and in writing

· Ability to remain calm in a crisis situation.

· Available to work different shifts and overtime as required.
